Get Ready for Reflections 2024-2025! The theme for the next school year is “Accepting Imperfection”. Year after year our Broncos show us their talents in amazing and creative ways. This National PTA program is an arts competition that gives students confidence in their abilities to explore ideas and learn through the arts for over the past 50+ years.
The National PTA Reflections Program is an arts recognition and achievement program for students. The Reflections Program provides opportunities for students to express themselves creatively and to receive positive recognition for original works of art inspired by a pre-selected theme, while increasing community awareness on the importance of the arts in education. Participation in the Reflections Program is a great way for students to explore and learn about various art forms. Creating art is a valuable learning process that challenges students to use their critical thinking skills as well as their creative talents to create art that supports a specific theme.
Students at Bevis can qualify in multiple categories. Only original works of art will be accepted.
Category Rules
Participation in the Florida PTA Reflections program is open to all students in attendance at PTA/PTSA schools where the program is sponsored. Local Units winners advance entries to County Councils and County Council winners advance to the state level.

Information for the 2024-2025 Process
- Review the Rules for the respective category of interest (Links above)
- Complete the Student Interest Form and return it to school by Friday, September 13, 2024.
- The student then completes their artwork. Students can submit 1 entry per category (Dance Choreography, Photography, Musical Composition, Literature, Visual Arts, Film Production or Accessible Artist).
- IMPORTANT: All submissions MUST include the Official Rules and Entry Form.
- Student Packets must be received by Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
- Submissions of all works will be collected by Bevis Elementary during our Intake Days.
- Intake Days will be October 7 & 8, 2024 before school from 7:00-7:30am in the Bevis cafeteria.
- All submissions must be received by Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
- Judging by local professionals in each category takes place according to the national judging standards.
